Five of the most beautiful lookout points (miradouros) in the city are located in this part of town. You can discover them on foot and enjoy a stunning view – Miradouro das Portas do Sol, Miradouro Sta Luzia, Miradouro da Graça, Miradouro da Senhora do Monte and Miradouro do Castelo de S. Jorge.
Below the Castle one finds Alfama, Mouraria and Martim Moniz, within walking distance. Close by you have the Baixa downtown area, the heart of Lisbon between Praça do Comércio square, Rossio square and Chiado quarter, with a lot of shops offering all-sorts and Santa Justa funicular.

PRACTICAL TIPS ON THE AREA
The 28 tram, which stops on the street just outside the apartments, is a true icon of Lisbon and one of the best ways to get to know the old town. The 12 tram also stops nearby.
The closest metro underground train station is Martim Moniz, a 20-minute walk downhill.
You will find several restaurants close-by, among them O Prego, o Pitéu da Graça, Santa Clara dos Cogumelos, O Satélite, Restaurante Ti’Ascenção, Jardim da Graça, and others.
Nightlife: Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré (Pink Street), a Fado house we recommend is nearby – O Clube do Fado.
